About Me

Professional Career Coach with several years experience, helping people get and keep jobs they love!

By day, I am a part of the district leadership team for Career Technical and Agricultural Education. I work with teachers to develop programs that give students structured work experiences linked to their coursework, career interests, and goals. Certified to teach marketing, business, and early childhood education, her impact has also included work as a Business Teacher, Marketing Coordinator, and Youth Apprenticeship Specialist in addition to serving as an Advisor for national Career and Technical Student Organizations.

I have been recognized as Georgia Marketing Education Association Educator of the Year, Georgia Association for Career and Technical Education Outstanding Educator, and has been a Teacher of the Year Nominee.

I am a member of several civic, professional, and honorary organizations including, the Georgia Association of Career and Technical Education, the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders, and the Society for Human Resource Management. I am a Sustaining Member of the Junior League of Atlanta; my experiences include serving as Vice President of Learning and Development, Recording Secretary on the Board of Directors, and serving as the Nominating Committee Chair.

A “Triple Dawg,” I graduated from The University of Georgia, where I earned a bachelor’s in marketing, and a master’s and doctorate in Workforce Education.
